Shau Zavon

President and Co-founder, GreaterCincinnatiChinese Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Golden Nexus Group, Inc.

Xiaojie “Shau” Zavon, president and co-founder of the Greater Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce (GCCCC), is also named one of the 20 Professional Women to Watch in 2011 by the Enquirer.  She has been the driving force behind GCCCC and contributed tremendously towards the success and growth of the Greater Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce.  She is also a member of the Global Advisory Committee at Ohio Department of Development Global Market Division.  In 2009, she was appointed as Shandong Yantai Foreign Investment Advisor by Yantai Municipality Government.  She graduated from Leadership Cincinnati Class XXXIII in 2010. 


Besides her NGO work with GCCCC, Ms. Zavon is the President and CEO of a cross border consulting company Golden Nexus Group Incorporated.  Since 2008, she has actively involved in cross country, multi layer collaboration betweenChinaand US in alternative energy and clean technology fields.  She is a strong advocate and key player in promoting and building economic relationship betweenChinaandCincinnatiUSATri-state region.  


She has successfully attracted and helped several Chinese companies to come to theMidwestto do business.  She is also Vice President of OwnerLand Realty, Inc., the only Chinese owned real estate brokerage company inOhio.  She conducts cross-culture consultant/training for Berlitz International and has students from P&G, GE,Toyota, & many other multi-national companies.  In 2006, she was selected by the China Women’s Newspaper in their book as an outstanding oversea women achiever.  


Ms. Zavon has a master degree in Industrial Hygiene fromUniversityofCincinnatiand a bachelor in Environmental Engineering fromTongjiUniversityinShanghai.  She is married with 3 lovely children and a supportive husband.
