Mark T. Reitzes

Regional President, Southern Ohio/Kentucky

Mark Reitzes is the President of Huntington’s Southern Ohio/Kentucky Region, which includesCincinnati,Dayton, Northern Kentucky andSpringfield.  He joinedHuntingtonin 1992 and ascended through the ranks to Commercial Group Head before being appointed Regional President on January 1, 2008. 

Mark is a CPA and began his career at KPMG CPA.  He frequently speaks on banking issues before trade groups, etc, and has provided expert testimony before the United States House of Representatives Financial Institution Committee.  Mark has also addressed the FASB Emerging Issues Task Force and presented Position papers before the AICPA Financial Institutions Committee.  He holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati School of Business Administration.

Mark currently serves on the American Heart Association Board and as 2011 Heart Ball Chair, Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce Ballot Issues Committee, Downtown Cincinnati Inc. Board of Directors Vice Chair and Executive Committee, Greater Cincinnati United Way Regional Disbursement Committee, Governmental Affairs Council for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, Hamilton County Development Corporation Board of Directors, Kenton County Parks Board, Kentucky State Board of Electric Transmission and Generation, Northern Kentucky Chamber Board of Advisors, Playhouse in the Park Board of Directors, The Greater Cincinnati YMCA, Tri-County Economic Development Foundation Board, Vision 2015 Regional Stewardship Committee, Walnut Hills Cemetery Board of Directors, and various privately-held company advisory board appointments.  Reitzes is also active in various charitable and civic causes. 

Mark served as 2009 Northern Kentucky United Way Campaign Chair and 2008 Vice Chair.  He was past Chair of the Greater Cincinnati Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk and past Chair of theThomasMoreCollegeannual Fund Appeal Campaign. 

Mark and his wife, Mary, reside in Crescent Springs, Kentucky with one daughter and four sons.
