Mr. Chenbin Xu

Mr.Xu Chenbin, Chief Representative of the US Office of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the largest and most important organization for the promotion of China’s foreign trade.

Mr.Xu Chenbin first joined CCPIT in 1982 as a member of Department of Exhibitions Abroad. Six years later, he moved to International Pacific Exhibition Inc. in New York City, USA, a Sino-American joint venture and subsidiary to CCPIT as manager, and then representative in its Beijing office. From 1993 to 1994, he served as Deputy Director of Business Division of Exhibition Department, China International Exhibition Corp. (CIEC), a subsidiary to CCPIT.

In 1994, Mr.Xu returned to the headquarters of CCPIT and worked as Deputy Director of Business Division of Exhibition Department, CCPIT . From 1998 to 2004, as the director of Planning Division, Exhibition Department, CCPIT, Mr.Xu worked on planning the exhibitions abroad for CCPIT, over 40 projects per year worldwide. From 2004 to 2007, Mr.Xu Chenbin was the Deputy Director General of Exhibition Department, CCPIT.

During his career, Mr.Xu Chenbin led Chinese delegations to participate in trade shows and conferences in more than 50 countries in various parts of the world. Mr.Xu Chenbin graduated from School of Government, Peking University as MPA. Born in May 1960, Mr.Xu Chenbin is married and has a daughter.
