Theodore N. Ley III is an International Sales Manager at United Parcel Service. In this role, Theodore manages a dedicated sales team with international expertise, which works proactively with major and national account managers in the North Central Region. His team directs client development and delivery of international solutions to increase overall business processes. His team covers all areas of international supply chain management that include warehousing, order entry, customer service, pick/pack/ship, and returns. His team also interfaces with alliance partners, such as IBM, SAP, and Oracle, to develop and implement customized solutions to increase the logistics process performance.

Theodore’s UPS background includes finance and accounting systems where he was instrumental in the national deployment of the UPS automated payroll system. Theodore also worked in corporate head quarters for two years on a small team of UPS’ers and McKinsey consultants responsible for realignment of the worldwide UPS sales force which concluded in December 2007.

Prior to UPS, Theodore worked at NASA – Lewis Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Theodore was responsible for negotiating R & D contracts related to the Space Shuttle Propulsion Program. Majorities of contracts were in excess of $100 million with such companies as General Electric, Pratt and Whitney, and McDonald Douglas.

Theodore received his MBA from University of Notre Dame in May 2003. He completed undergraduate level work in Marketing/Finance from University of Cincinnati. He has been recognized with numerous professional society distinctions.

Theodore and his wife, Susan, and their 2 son’s and daughter reside in Cincinnati, Ohio. He enjoys golf, travel and business law.
